Weathertex boards must be stored in horizontal,covered and sheltered from weather events, resting on supports having no bigger distance than 600 mm between them.If stored outdoors it must be kept above the ground and covered by some waterproof material to impede the water from staining it.
Weathertex boards Weathertex boards can be easily cut by using a hand or electric saw.It is possible to cut 2 or panels simultaneously. When necessary you can clean the edges with sandpaper.Holes can be by using a drill.
It responsibility of the designer or builder to foresee a ventilation system to insure that the empty space of the wall and the back of the boards is maintained dry at all times.
It is possible to handle the vertical joints of the boards laid horizontally with specific aluminum or PVC joints or by cutting the boards at 45° and then put on top. It is recommended to make these joints in the same position of the keels,in order to fix them to it.It is recommended to leave at least 1/2 mm space between the boards, closable with an acrylic silicone.
