Weathertex produces wooden planks in Australian Eucalyptus in several forms destined for cladding, that are here presented in two models: Weathertex Naturalcladding of pure exposed wood and Weathertex Primed cladding pre-treated with a primer ready for varnishing. Planks for cladding are laid simply by interlocking with closed joints which leave each plank visible.
Eucalyptus, originally from Australia, is a very common, evergreen essence, which belongs to a family of about 600 species of deciduous trees. It is a very resistant and stable plant, able to survive a drought by absorbing and storing a lot of water. This characteristic made it important in Italy in the 1920s in the reclaiming of the land of the Agro Pontino.
For more than 70 years Weathertex has used the essence of the natural wood of the Eucalyptus tree, from forests with the certificate PEFC. It produces cladding planks adding only paraffin wax and no chemical additives..
